CHOW - CHOW 
Wash cucumbers - don't peel. Cut lengthwise, scrape out seeds, grind up with coarse grinder.

6 qt. ground cucumbers
3 green peppers, ground
3 c. onions, ground
1/2 c. pickling salt
8 c. sugar
6 c. dark vinegar
3 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. mustard seed

Put salt on ground up mixture. Let set, drain. Make solution of other ingredients; add to ground mixture. Boil for 15 to 20 minutes. Put in sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 13 pints.
