TACO SOUP 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 1/2 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 env. or 2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix

In saucepan cook ground beef, onion and green pepper until browned. Drain off excess fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning mix. Simmer covered at least 15 minutes. Serve soup in bowls. Let everyone top own soup with the following: grated Cheddar cheese, sour cream, Frito corn chips, avocado.
