TROPIC SUN SPARE RIBS 
3 1/2 to 4 lbs. ribs
3 lg. cloves of garlic pressed
1 lg. onion, sliced
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. water
1 can (20 oz.) Dole crushed pineapple, undrained
1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Rub ribs with garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange onion in large baking pan. Place ribs on top. Add 1/4 cup of water to pan. Cover with foil. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over ribs. Bake uncovered for one hour longer. Serves 4.
