FESTIVE CRANBERRY SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lemon flavored gelatin
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
4 c. fresh cranberries, ground
1 orange, unpeeled, seeded, and ground
2 lg. apples, unpeeled, cored, and ground
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Lettuce leaves
Mayonnaise or salad dressing
Orange slices

Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add next 4 ingredients; stir well. Pour into a lightly oiled 6 cup ring mold; chill until set. Unmold on lettuce leaves. Fill center of ring with mayonnaise, and garnish salad with orange slices. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
