1 (1 lb.) jar sweetened applesauce
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Whipped cream

Dump applesauce in 9x13 pan. Dump pineapple on top of applesauce. Dump unprepared cake mix over applesauce. (I find if you sprinkle the cake mix on it is better.) Pour butter over cake mix and sprinkle on nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream when cool.
