3/4 c. white sugar 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar 1 egg white 1/4 c. boiling water 1 tsp. vanilla Add all ingredients together and beat at high speed until it reaches proper consistency. Store in refrigerator. May be frozen up to six months. |

I will say unless you have a stand mixer (which I don't) be prepared to stand there with your hand mixer a LONG time!
I was making this for Strawberry shortcake and I mixed in a big of "Strawberry pie filling" I had bought to mix in with my fresh berries. It gave it a wonderful strawberry flavor and extra sweetness.
