OATMEAL MAPLE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. maple syrup
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream together the butter and maple syrup in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients in the order listed. Mix well; the batter will be stiff. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, remove the cookies to wire racks; cool. Makes 36 to 42 cookies.
