SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. whole or chopped pecans
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar and flour. Cream butter, corn syrup and eggs with electric mixer until frothy. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir and pour into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes until firm.
