HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 qts. milk, if fruit is used only use 2 qts. milk
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix sugar and eggs in large container. Add canned milk (if fruit is used, add now). Next add one quart milk and stir well. Then add vanilla. Add remaining milk. Pour into large freeze-safe container. Leave 2 to 2 1/2 inches at top for ice cream to expand as it freezes. Makes 4 quarts of ice cream.
