MUSHROOM SAUCE 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 onion, sliced
1 1/2 lbs. fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. savory
Water
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Saute onions in butter until brown. Add mushrooms and cover. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add soy sauce and savory and simmer 5 minutes. Combine water and cornstarch and add to skillet. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens.
