TORTE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter, soft
3 tbsp. sugar

Combine ingredients to make a dough. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Let cool. Can mix with hand.

2ND LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 container Cool Whip (12 oz.)
1 c. powdered sugar

Cream sugar and cream cheese. Add Cool Whip. Cover 1st layer.

3RD LAYER:

2 pkgs. instant pudding, chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch, or lemon (sm.)
2 2/3 c. milk

Mix together milk and pudding. Cover 2nd layer.

4TH LAYER:

Use remainder of Cool Whip and cover pudding. Top with pecan pieces.
