DELICIOUS ALMOND COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. water

Round into ball. Divide in half. Make 2 strips, 12 x 3 inches, on ungreased baking sheet. Set aside. 1 c. water 1 tsp. almond extract 1 c. flour 3 eggs

Then heat 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon almond extract and 1 cup flour. Stir vigorously until it forms a ball. Beat in 3 eggs. Divide and put on top of strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool.

GLAZE:

1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. soft butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 tbsp. water

Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
