BUTTERHORN ROLLS 
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. dry active yeast
3/4 c. warm milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour

Soak yeast in warm water for 5 minutes. Add butter dissolved in warm milk. Add sugar, yeast, salt, eggs, and 1 cup of flour. Beat until smooth. Add up to 4 1/2 cups of flour. May use more flour, if needed. Knead. Roll in ball. Grease top. Let double in size. Divide in 3 parts. Roll each in a 10 inch circle. Cut like pie. Roll each piece, starting from the large end. Put on baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.
