SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground round (extra lean hamburger)
3/4 c. bread crumbs
1 egg beaten
1 sm. onion chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 c. catsup
1/2 c. sugar

Combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls and place in a single or double layer in baking pan. Set aside. In another bowl combine tomato sauce, catsup and sugar. Pour over meatballs. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 350 degree oven. Serve in a chafing dish as an appetizer. Can also be served over noodles as a main dish. This is so easy because you do not have to fry all those meatballs. Can also be made ahead and be frozen.
