BEST WILD RICE CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. soaked wild rice, soak in water an hour or more 1/2 c. white rice (not instant) 3 c. boiling water 3-4 chicken bouillon cubes 1/4 c. finely chopped onion or 1 tsp. dried minced onion 1/2 or 1/4 c. finely chopped celery 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms or 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces and liquid 2 tbsp. diced green pepper (optional) 1 or 2 tbsp. butter Mix all ingredients in 2 quart casserole. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour. |
