6 - 8 pieces of anthracite coal 2 tbsp. clear ammonia 1/2 c. water 1/2 sm. bottle of red ink 2 tbsp. salt Place coal in bowl. Mix salt and liquids together and pour over coal, baste with a spoon until all is covered. After the first day, add salt and coloring as needed. Then watch it grow a beautiful red crystal artificial plant. NOTE: Charcoal may be used instead of coal and 2 tablespoons of liquid bluing instead of ink. |
