1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup syrup or 1/4 cup honey
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda

Cream peanut butter, butter, and vanilla. Gradually add sugar and syrup or honey. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and soda. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with fork dipped in sugar to make crosshatching.

Bake at 375°F for 10 - 12 minutes.
