GLAZED ORANGE - PECAN BREAD 
1/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 1/2 tsp. orange juice
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Cream butter, gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, beating well. Add the beaten eggs and grated orange rind, mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with 3/4 cup orange juice, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix well after each addition. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes in pan. Remove and cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.

Combine 2 1/2 teaspoons orange juice and powdered sugar. Drizzle over loaf.
