CRANBERRY SQUARES 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce
1 1/2 c. ginger ale
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped apple
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 sm. banana, diced
1 c. Dream Whip
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cranberry sauce, stirring until dissolved. Stir in ginger ale. Chill until thick and syrupy. Fold in walnuts, apple, pineapple and banana. Pour into lightly oiled 8" square baking dish. Chill until set. Mix cream cheese and Cool Whip and spread on top.
