SOUR CREAM DROP COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. thick sour cream
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar and vanilla. Add eggs. Beat well. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients with sour cream. Stir smooth after each addition. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop from tbsp. on greased cookie sheet. Bake 400 degrees about 10 minutes.

ICING:

Heat 1/4 cup butter over low heat until golden. Stir in 1 cup confectioners' sugar on 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Add hot water until spreadable.
