MY FAVORITE BANANA BREAD 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in mashed bananas. Combine flour, soda, and salt at low speed. Add buttermilk; beat until smooth. Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces. Pour in 2 (8 inch) loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Makes 2 loaves.
