APPLE CAKE 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. yogurt or sour milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. diced apples
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Sift together the dry ingredients and coat the nuts and raisins. Add the flour mixture alternately with the sour milk, starting with flour, beating after each addition. Stir in the apples, nuts and raisins. Bake in a greased 9"x13" pan about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
