WHITE FROSTING 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. white shortening

Cream above very well until peaks start to form. 1 box powdered sugar

Add to butter and shortening mixture. Blend well.

Make a gravy out of a little water and cornstarch heated on stove. Add to mixture as a thickening agent - you determine the thickness by the more gravy you add the creamy it gets. Freeze or chill remaining frosting. If it gets stiff or hard add a little gravy mixture until creamy again.
