EASY GROUND BEEF SOUP 
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen vegetables
1 lb. ground beef
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
4 lg. potatoes, diced
1 chopped onion
3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. crushed basil

Use any leftovers vegetables you have on hand.

Brown meat; drain. Add to frozen vegetables in 2 quarts boiling water. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve with cornbread for a delicious cool weather meal. Makes about 10 servings. Freezes well or keeps several days in refrigerator.
