BEST FUDGY BROWNIES 
BROWNIES:

3 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/4 + 1/8 tsp. flour

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. shortening
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

BROWNIES: Heat chocolate and butter in 2 quart saucepan over low heat, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in greased 12" x 7 1/2" 2" (jelly roll or bar) pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

FROSTING: Heat shortening and chocolate in saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Place pan of frosting in bowl of ice and water and beat until desired consistency. Spread over slightly cooled brownies.
