BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
2 c. macaroni 6 c. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. shredded Velveeta cheese 1/2 c. bread crumbs Cook macaroni in salt water, then drain. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir until well blended. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until a smooth paste is formed. Place a layer of macaroni in the bottom of a greased casserole dish. Add cheese and white sauce. Repeat until the casserole is filled. Sprinkle crumbs on the top and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
