MOCK APPLE PIE 
2 c. water
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Nutmeg
1 c. sugar
25 Ritz crackers
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Butter

Boil sugar, water and cream of tartar for 5 minutes. Add Ritz crackers. Do not stir. Boil 2 minutes. Pour in to unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust and bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
