| APPLESAUCE CAKE | |

1/4 c. sugar 3 tsp. cinnamon 1 box yellow cake mix (dry) 2 eggs 1 (16 oz.) jar applesauce Grease angel food cake pan with butter. Coat bottom and sides with 2/3 cup mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Mix dry cake mix, applesauce and eggs. Pour into pan and sprinkle rest of mixture on top or marbelize it. Bake at 350°F. for about 40 minutes. | |

I have taken so many recipes from Cooks.com and the majority of them are wonderful. This sounds really good and simple to make as well -- especially when one has such a busy schedule and the fresh apples are now coming off the trees to be made into tasty applesauce and preserve for the season.
