BEEF BARLEY SOUP 
1/2 lb. hamburger
2 1/2 c. water
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 c. carrots
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. barley
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp. oregano
Salt
1/2 lb. cheese cubes

Brown meat; drain. Stir in water, tomatoes, mushrooms, barley and garlic. Bring to boil, reduce heat. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until barley is tender. Season to taste. Stir in cheese and heat until cheese is melted.
