POTATO PANCAKES 
4 lg. potatoes, peeled
1 tsp. grated onion
1 egg
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
Dash white pepper
1 tsp. baking powder

Grate potatoes on fine grater. Pour off water. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Drop by spoonfuls onto 1/2 inch hot oil in frying pan. Fry until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
