BROILED FLANK STEAK 
1 lb. beef flank steak
1/3 c. low calorie Italian dressing
3 scallions, sliced
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Place steak in glass baking dish. In small bowl combine all remaining ingredients. Pour over steak. Cover and marinate several hours or overnight, turning steak over several times. Remove steak from marinade. Preheat broiler. Place steak on rack of broiler pan. Broil 2" to 3" from heat source 8 to 9 minutes for well done. Cut diagonally against the grain into thin slices. Serve with warmed marinade.
