OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs. Sift together all dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in oats, raisins, nuts and chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart, onto buttered baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove immediately to wire rack to cool.
