1 tbsp. Crisco 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 lb. ground chuck 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning 1 c. water 1 sm. (8 oz.) can refried beans Flour tortilla shells 1 (12 oz.) jar Heinz brown gravy 1 (10 oz.) can "mild" enchilada sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 c. water Shredded lettuce Diced tomatoes Shredded Cheddar cheese Saute onion in Crisco; add ground chuck and fry until done. Drain and add seasoning, 1 cup water and refried beans (optional). Simmer for 15 minutes. Mix together gravy, enchilada sauce and tomato sauce, plus 1/2 cup water until hot. Set aside. Heat flour shells; lay flat and add meat mixture, lettuce and tomatoes. Fold shell and flip folded side down. Cover with sauce and shredded cheese. Microwave until cheese is melted. |
