YUMMY CAKE BROWNIES | |
3/4 cup olive oil 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup wheat flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 cup half & half 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 (8 oz.) can almond paste, broken into small lumps (I use Solo) little sugar for sprinkling on top of the batter Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan or baking dish and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, sugar and cocoa powder. Add eggs and vanilla and beat beat just until combined. In another bowl combine flours, baking powder and baking soda. Pour milk and chocolate mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts and the lumps of almond paste. Pour batter into the prepared pan or dish. Sprinkle a little sugar on top. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
