CHRISTMAS PLUM PUDDING 
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 c. light bread crumbs
1 c. suet, chopped fine
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. raisins
1/4 lb. citron
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts

Steam all ingredients 3 hours. That is put pan of ingredients in a pan of water. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. water, or whiskey

Cook until clear. Add cinnamon and vanilla to taste. Put small portion of pudding in dessert dish. Cover with sauce. Excellent!
