1 c. flour
1/4 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. oil
Food coloring

Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar, water and oil in 3 quart saucepan with spoon. Do not put on heat yet. Stir until smooth and no lumps. Add any color food coloring. Stir until color is completely mixed in. Then put on medium heat and stir until it forms a ball. When cool, put in closed plastic container. Stays soft and pliable.
