BAKED CUSTARD 
3 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Nutmeg or cinnamon

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Beat eggs slightly. Add the milk, sugar and salt. Pour into a buttered pudding dish or 6 individual custard cups. Sprinkle the top lightly with nutmeg or cinnamon.

Set the container in a pan with 1 inch of hot water in it. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the custard comes out clean.
