PARSNIPS WITH MAPLE SYRUP 
12 med. parsnips
1 tbsp. salt
1/3 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Parboil parsnips; drain. Slice lengthwise. Place in 9 x 12 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt. Combine syrup, orange juice and rind in bowl; mix well. Pour over parsnips. Dot with butter. Bake until parsnips are tender and glazed.
