SOUTHERN SEAFOOD CHOWDER 
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped
2 c. water
1 lg. potato, peeled and cubed
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. frozen cut okra
1 lb. flounder or sole fillets, cut into bite size pieces

Drain clams; reserve liquid. Set clams aside. Combine clam liquid and next 10 ingredients in Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in okra fish and clams. Bring to a boil.
