OSLO TWISTS 
3 egg yolks
1 whole egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. confectioner's sugar
1 tbsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. McCormick vanilla
1 c. flour

Heat deep fat. Beat egg yolks, egg and salt together until stiff. Blend in sugar and flavorings. Add flour all at once. Mix well. Turn dough on well floured cloth covered board. Knead for 7 minutes. Divide dough in half and roll out each half very thin. Cut dough in diamonds or rectangles about 4 x 2 inches. Make 1 inch slit in center and pull through. Fry until delicately browned in deep hot fat, about 1/2 minute on each side. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar just before serving. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
