INSIDE OUT RAVIOLI | |
1 lb. ground chuck beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. oil 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 2 eggs 1/4 c. salad oil 1/2 c. bread crumbs Salt and pepper Brown beef, onion and garlic in oil in large skillet. Cook spinach as directed on package; drain and reserve liquid. Add water to liquid to make 1 cup and add to beef mixture with sauce and paste. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes. Combine spinach, macaroni, cheese, beaten eggs, bread crumbs, and salad oil. Layer ingredients in a 13 x 9 inch pan, beginning and ending with the sauce. Top with additional cheese as desired. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8. |
