ORIENTAL SHRIMP 
1 1/2 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
4 tbsp. vegetable fat
2 onions, sliced
1 green pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 c. pineapple chunks
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
Rice

Saute the shrimp in melted fat until cooked, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Add the onions, green pepper, and pineapple. Cook for 1 minute.

Combine the sugar and vinegar; add to the pan and bring to a boil.

Add soy sauce and mustard. Combine the cornstarch and water. Stir into sauce. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens, and boil for 1 minute. Add the shrimp. Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.
