1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. buttermilk
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 dozen fudge stripe or other shortbread cookies

Make salad one day ahead. Mix pudding and milk. Add Cool Whip and pineapple. Add cookies just before serving. Break cookies into pieces and stir in.
