APPLE PIE FILLING 
Apples (enough to quarter and fill 7 jars)
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. corn starch
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
10 c. water
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix all dry ingredients together. Pour water and lemon juice and boil until thick. Pour over apples in jar. Boil 20 minutes in jars in hot waterbath.
