ENGLISH TOFFEE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Pecan pieces
Sweet chocolate, grated

Mix together with hands. Dough will be fairly stiff. Spread in large cookie sheet (10 x 15 inches) and spread unbeaten egg white over the whole surface. Cover with chopped pecan pieces. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut into squares while warm. Sprinkle grated Baker's German Sweet Chocolate over all.
