APPLE JELLY 
Wash apples, remove stems and blossom ends. Cut in pieces (do not peel), place in large pan, add 7 cups water, bring to full boil. Cover and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes. Crush apples and simmer 5 more minutes.

Drain and strain 7 cups of juice, put 7 cups of apple juice in large pan, add 1 box of Sure Jell fruit pectin and 1/2 teaspoon butter, bring juice to full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.

Quickly add 9 cups sugar, bring to full rolling boil that can't be stirred down for 1 full minute. Skim off foam. Quickly fill jars and seal.
