1 can beef consomme
1 can water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. hickory smoke liquid
1/2 c. soy sauce
Salt
Pepper

Combine all the above ingredients and baste brisket while cooking. Cover. Cook at 275 to 300 degrees for four hours.
