WATERMELON PICKLES 
7 lb. fruit (uncooked)
1/2 tsp. oil of cinnamon
7 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. cloves

Cook rind until tender. Drain overnight in bag. Bring to a boil sugar, vinegar and spices and pour over rind. Reheat for 3 mornings and third morning can and seal.
