APPLE FRITTERS OLE 
6 apples
2 c. flour
1 pt. beer
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Oil to fry
Powdered sugar

Peel apples, core and slice crosswise in 1/4 inch slices. Coat in sugar and cinnamon. Make batter of flour and beer, beat well. Coat apple slices in batter. Fry in oil. Brown on one side, turn and cook until apples are tender and light brown. Dust with powdered sugar. Serves 8.
