2 eggs
1 c. pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar

Mix flour and sugar; add eggs and melted butter. Stir in nuts, chips and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Pie is done when it looks like crust has formed on top. This recipe comes from Kentucky and is popular during Kentucky Derby time.
